SANDERSVILLE —
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians donated $50,000 and two police vehicles to the town of Sandersville Thursday.
Miko Beasley Denson, tribal leader, and retired Maj. Gen. Paul Harvey, president and CEO of Pearl River Resort, made the presentation to Sandersville Mayor Walter “Buzz” Jack, Police Chief Tony Hosey and Fire Chief John Bounds during a ceremony at the Sandersville Town Hall.
