NEW YORK — It seems that not everyone loves trees.
New York City issued more than 100 summonses for tree abuse last year and another 18 so far this year.
The New York Post says city and court records show that $123,000 worth of tickets were doled out for damaging or destroying trees in 2010.
Incidents included a Christmas-night massacre of six saplings at a playground on Houston Street and a contractor who caused major tree damage to five honey
